Do you feel exhausted and need time to rest?

What would it be like for you to consciously take time for yourself to truly rest?

We live in a culture that is dictated by tight schedules and a never-ending stream of to-do lists. In order to survive, many of us adopt strategies of numbing out our senses just to be able to cope. When we numb ourselves, we rob ourselves of our birthright of feeling truly alive.

This retreat offers you the possibility to truly rest and gather the experiences and practices that can support you in finding a healthy balance in your life.

Everything in nature expands and contracts. This is the natural order of things. Day and Night. Winter and Summer. Open flower, closed flower. Warm and Cold. When we live in a culture that does not validate rest, we have lost the ability to dance to this natural rhythm of life.

It is possible to feel free and creative again

Over the course of six days, we will guide you into your body, into your senses, into your heart, into relationship with the world around you and within you.

Pedro Goucha

Pedro Goucha is a certified teacher of the Feldenkrais Method and of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction. He was a professional dancer and teacher with an international career. Pedro will be guiding daily Mindfulness meditation and Awareness Through Movement lessons that encourage enjoyment and ease while learning new possibilities of thinking, sensing and moving.

Geeta Stilwell

Geeta Stilwell is an experienced ANFT Certified Forest Therapy of Guide and trainer of guides and an Activating the Heart of Teams Heart Math Institute trainer. She has trained and mentored over 300 students worldwide. She will be guiding daily nature connection restorative experiences that will support a remembering and reconnection to the natural world. She will offer Heart Coherence practices and Breathwork.

Émilie Klein

Émilie Klein, age 56. Born in Paris. Studied Arts. Lived in India for 22 years and worked in various fields such as education, publishing for a French magazine, fashion design for a social business, explored animation. Worked and researched on intuitive art expression. Émilie will be guiding the Somatic Drawing sessions.

Catherine Darbord

Catherine Darbord is a psycho-corporal therapist, musician sculptor of sounds, specialist in harmonic singing, trainer in Sound Therapy and author. Catherine will be offering two concerts.

The Venue and Accomodation

Loural Eco-Village

Loural Ecovillage is a training center for integrative therapies and also a retreat center created in 2021. The whole village spans over 30 hectares of land with a small river and five springs which allows for sovereignty through food and energy autonomy. Loural Eco-Village is an active permaculture and land regeneration project.

Nestled in a pristine valley in the center of Portugal, Loural is a haven and nature sanctuary that offers the possibility for a genuine remembering and tuning into the natural rhythm of life.

Loural Eco-Village holds at it’s heart the vision of health that nurtures the physical body, emotions, energies, relationships, thoughts, nature and the soul. Nature (the macrocosm) and the human (the microcosm) are one.

What is Included

– 6-night accommodation with all meals included from dinner on July 15th to lunch on July 21st

– All practices and explorations offered by facilitators over 6 retreats days staring on the 15th July evening and completing on the 21st July morning.

Do I need to have previous experience in this type of retreat to attend?
No! This retreat is open to anyone who would like to take conscious time to rest and remember the rapture of feeling fully alive.
Do your offer payment plans?

Yes. You can pay in one go, in two payments or in four payments. Please connect with us via email at info@renature.pt.

What should I bring with me?

When you register for the retreat you will receive a welcome information package that will clearly suggest everything you should bring with you for the most comfortable experience possible.

When should I arrive at the venue?
Check in is on the 15th July between 3pm to 5pm. Dinner will be served at 7pm and we start the program at 8pm for an orientation and arrival practice.
What is the closest airport to the venue?

Lisbon International Airport and Porto International Aiport. Both the same distance from Loural Eco Village.

How far is the venue from the airport?

The venue is 2.5 hours away from both Lisbon and Porto International Airports.

How do I get to the venue for the airport?
From either airport you can take a train to Coimbra and from Coimbra you can get a Taxi to Loural. Please connect with us and we can share with you detailed travel information.
Do you cater for food intolerances?

Yes. After you register you will receive a form to harvest any food-related needs you might have. We want you to have the best experience possible.

What happens if I need to cancel?

If you cancel up to 60 days before the retreat start date, a full refund will be made, minus €100 administrative fee.
If you cancel 59 to 45 days before the retreat start date, tuition & food fees will be refunded. Fee for accommodation will be retained until your spot is filled. Once your spot is filled by another participant, the fee for the accommodation will be refunded in full.
If you cancel 30 or less days before the retreat start date, there will be no refund.
If you decide to leave the retreat once it has started, there will be no refund.
In case Renature needs to cancel the retreat, the total amount paid by you will be fully refunded.

Can I participate in this retreat if I am pregnant?

Yes. This is a very gentle process that will allow full participation. We do require a letter from your doctor in that he authorises your participation. This does not apply to high risk pregnancies.
